Elan SixtyFive is setting the bar high: The New Ultimate Bluewater Cruiser
Elan Yachts, the Slovenian innovator in advanced composite yacht construction, introduces the Elan SixtyFive — a 65-foot ultimate bluewater cruiser designed for comfort, speed, and short-handed blue water owner-operated long range sailing.
Developed as collaboration of J&J Design with the leading naval architect Guillaume Verdier, the SixtyFive leverages decades of offshore racing expertise and Shipman Carbon Yachts heritage to deliver a lightweight, strong, and highly efficient yacht. Built using advanced carbon-epoxy construction, she is engineered to plane easily while remaining stable, safe, and easy to handle shorthanded.
Below deck, the yacht offers a contemporary layout with three en-suite cabins, a spacious owner’s suite, and optimized living spaces for long voyages. The unique protected cockpit area serves as a secondary steering station, with both autopilot and push-button sail controls.
Intelligent energy systems, hybrid propulsion readiness, and sustainable materials reflect J&J Design’s and Elan’s commitment to innovation and responsible yacht building.
The SixtyFive is the first in a new series of Elan carbon performance cruisers, with larger models — the SeventyThree and Eighty — planned for 2028 and 2030. Combining racing DNA, modern technology, and luxurious comfort with good looks, the Elan SixtyFive sets a new benchmark for performance bluewater cruising.
